British Cruise Line and Dating App Partner Up for Love Over 50

Like their prospective clients, this new partnership is a match made in heaven.

In one corner: The embattled Ambassador cruise line.  The British upstart with two ships and a burning ambition to create legendary vacations with hardware that is past its prime.

In the other corner: OurTime- A British dating app geared toward creating love and/or friendship for people who are past their prime.

If you are offended by this, please don’t be.  The joke wrote itself and it would be irresponsible for me not to write it.  Clearly, many of us who are over 50 are enjoying some of the best years of our lives and that is, in many cases, because of cruising.

“We really value our solo guests and want to inspire more to travel with us, so partnering with OurTime is a perfect fit,” says Ambassador spokesperson Gordon Nardini, “especially as they are encouraging 50+ singles to create their own destiny and enjoy their life. We can’t wait to welcome their members onboard, where they’ll not only form friendships or even relationships of a lifetime within the Ambassador community but also enjoy amazing entertainment, outstanding cuisine and the warmest welcome at sea.”

The cruise line is currently running a special through January 31st that offers all members of the Our Time dating app to receive 10% off solo cabins for voyages through 2024.  Some sailings offer as much as 30% off and there are various other discounts offered for onboard experiences.

Our time has been empowering singles who are over 50 to seek friendships, companionship and love all across the UK and they are taking things to the next level by facilitating the opportunity for this to happen at sea onboard an Ambassador cruise.

Those who follow our friend Emma Cruises are aware that the line had to make some cancellations to dated equipment.  Check out her video which documents her unique experience on the ship.

Such things can sometimes come into play when you are dealing with ships that were built in the 90s, but we are assured that the necessary repairs have been made and both vessels are in ship shape and ready to facilitate love.
