“Behind the Fun,” a very popular behind-the-scenes tour on Carnival cruise ships is making a triumphant return in February. Brand Ambassador John Heald broke the good news on social media and Carnival fans everywhere rejoiced.
The ultra-popular 3 ½ hour on board excursion gives guests an inside look at crew areas such as the galley, staterooms, backstage areas, engine room and possibly even the bridge.
When the industry shut down in 2020, the industry took a “phased in” approach in terms of its return to normalcy. Initially, activities like “Faster to the Fun” were looked at as somewhat of a safety risk because it went against the practice of social distancing. Since it was introduced in 2009, Faster to the Fun was a big hit fleetwide, and guests will be happy to know that it will be open for booking again next month.
